Gugulethu Mbatha (better known by the name Gugu-Mbatha Raw) is a British actress and film star that became popular when she was a part of the BBC series "Doctor Who", the British science-fiction TV series. Gugu earned a significant amount of recognition for her role in the role of Tish Jones, the daughter of the main character, Martha Jones, in the drama. Gugu's audiences loved her bright enthusiasm. Her mother was employed at home and her father sold used cars. Her mother, a German-born Immigrant in America in the year 1958, was born and raised there. United States since 1958, was born in Germany. Breast cancer was discovered in the year 1989. She died a decade following her battle with cancer. Handler was raised in an Reform Judaism family. Her father was Jewish. Handler was blessed with a joyful and healthy living in a posh area. When she was in her early 20s Handler moved to Los Angeles in order to explore acting. Handler became an actress to support her. Handler began performing stand-up comedy full-time after she turned 21. She realized she is gifted at story telling. Handler started her career by being a part of the all-female Oxygen team, and starred in a TV show named Girls Behaving BADLY. The show was renowned for its hidden camera and humorous jokes. This reality show ran from 2002 until 2005. Handler began appearing on various other programs, including Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler was a part of The Tonight Show for a period of time as a correspondent. Handler made her breakthrough in 2006 when she started hosting her own show on E! known as The Chelsea Handler show. The Chelsea Handler Show ran for two years. Handler was then seen in the United States on Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend, HBO and Comedy Central have all broadcast her stand-up show. In 2010 she hosted the MTV Video Music Awards 2010 were revealed. It was only the second female host of the VMAs following Roseanne Bar.
