Allyson Felix

Allyson Melissa Felix was birthed at Los Angeles, California on November 18, 1985. Her father Paul Felix is an ordained Minister in the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. As for her mother, Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix had an early aptitude for athletics when she was in high school at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Her sprinting talent at that time. Following her initial audition and placing among the top two athletes in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 200 meters in a mere 10 weeks. Felix completed high school in 2003, and became a part of Adidas an agreement as an athlete in professional competition. In the following year, she enrolled at the University of Southern California studying elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic gold medal during the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record in the 200-meter race with a time of 22.18. In the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix was the youngest world champion in running 200m. In 2007, she was able to defend the title against her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix participated at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and consistently placed within the top three athletes at her particular events.
